The difference between Core and Memory

When used as nouns, core means the central part of fruit, containing the kernels or seeds, whereas memory means the ability of a system to record information about things or events with the facility of recalling them later at will.


Core is also verb with the meaning: to remove the core of an apple or other fruit.
