The difference between Conversation and Table talk

When used as nouns, conversation means interaction, whereas table talk means conversation, especially of an informal or somewhat gossipy nature, among a group seated together for a meal or other social activity.


Conversation is also verb with the meaning: to engage in conversation (with).
