The difference between Consequence and Termination
When used as nouns, consequence means that which follows something on which it depends, whereas termination means the process of terminating or the state of being terminated.
Consequence is also verb with the meaning: to threaten or punish (a child, etc.) with specific consequences for misbehaviour.
