The difference between Clash and Encounter
When used as nouns, clash means a loud sound, like the crashing together of metal objects, whereas encounter means an unplanned or unexpected meeting.
When used as verbs, clash means to make a loud clash, whereas encounter means to meet (someone) or find (something) unexpectedly.
