The difference between Charm and Incantation
When used as nouns, charm means an object, act or words believed to have magic power (usually carries a positive connotation), whereas incantation means the act or process of using formulas and/or usually rhyming words, sung or spoken, with occult ceremonies, for the purpose of raising spirits, producing enchantment, or creating other magical results.
Charm is also verb with the meaning: to seduce, persuade or fascinate someone or something.
