The difference between Celestial body and Planet

When used as nouns, celestial body means a natural object which is located outside of earth's atmosphere, such as the moon, the sun, an asteroid, planet, or star, whereas planet means each of the seven major bodies which move relative to the fixed stars in the night sky—the moon, mercury, venus, the sun, mars, jupiter and saturn.
