The difference between Callus and Corn
When used as nouns, callus means a hardened area of the skin (especially on the foot or hand) caused by repeated friction, wear or use, whereas corn means the main cereal plant grown for its grain in a given region, such as oats in parts of scotland and ireland, and wheat or barley in england and wales.
When used as verbs, callus means to form such hardened tissue, whereas corn means to granulate.
