The difference between Beauty product and Cosmetic
When used as nouns, beauty product means an item of cosmetics, whereas cosmetic means any substances applied to enhance the external color or texture of the skin, e.g. lipstick, eyeshadow, eyeliner.
Cosmetic is also adjective with the meaning: imparting or improving beauty, particularly the beauty of the complexion.
