The difference between Bang and Hang

When used as nouns, bang means a sudden percussive noise, whereas hang means the way in which something hangs.

When used as verbs, bang means to make sudden loud noises, and often repeatedly, especially by exploding or hitting something, whereas hang means to be or remain suspended.


Bang is also interjection with the meaning: a sudden percussive sound.
