The difference between Appropriate and Confiscate
When used as verbs, appropriate means to make suitable, whereas confiscate means to use one's authority to lay claim to and separate a possession from its holder.
When used as adjectives, appropriate means suitable or fit, whereas confiscate means confiscated.
