The difference between Anomalistic year and Year

When used as nouns, anomalistic year means the time taken for the earth to complete one revolution with respect to its apsides, usually defined as the time between perihelion passages, whereas year means a solar year, the time it takes the earth to complete one revolution of the sun (between 365.24 and 365.26 days depending on the point of reference).
