The difference between Airship and Balloon
When used as nouns, airship means a lighter-than-air aircraft that can be propelled forward through the air as well as steered, whereas balloon means an inflatable buoyant object, often (but not necessarily) round and flexible.
When used as verbs, airship means to transport goods by aircraft, whereas balloon means to increase or expand rapidly.
