The difference between Agnostic and Atheist

When used as nouns, agnostic means a person who holds to a form of agnosticism, especially uncertainty of the existence of a deity, whereas atheist means a person who believes that no deities exist .

When used as adjectives, agnostic means of or relating to agnosticism or its adherents, whereas atheist means of or relating to atheists or atheism.
