The difference between Affix and Couple

When used as nouns, affix means that which is affixed, whereas couple means two partners in a romantic or sexual relationship.

When used as verbs, affix means to attach, whereas couple means to join (two things) together, or (one thing) to (another).


Couple is also determiner with the meaning: two or a few, a small number of.

Couple is also adjective with the meaning: two or (a) small number of.
