The difference between Accelerate and Advance
When used as verbs, accelerate means to cause to move faster, whereas advance means to help the progress of (something).
When used as adjectives, accelerate means accelerated, whereas advance means completed before need or a milestone event.
Advance is also noun with the meaning: a forward move.
