The difference between A few and Some
When used as determiners, a few means a small number of, whereas some means a certain proportion of, at least one.
When used as pronouns, a few means a small number of things, whereas some means a certain number, at least one.
Some is also adverb with the meaning: of a measurement: approximately, roughly.
